Utility bucket truck tips over in Ohio

A Cleveland Public Power worker suffered a broken wrist and lacerations after the bucket truck he was working from tipped over.

The accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Jan. 19 alongside Interstate 90 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Rich Barton, the Cleveland Public Power Operations Manager said in a statement, "We are investigating the accident, but it appears that high winds may have contributed to this unfortunate incident."

"A Cleveland Public Power lineworker was injured this morning while making repairs to a street light circuit when the bucket truck tipped over on I-90 at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd," Cleveland Public Power said in a statement. "Cleveland EMS was called to the scene and he was transported to MetroHealth Hospital. He suffered a broken wrist along with cuts and bruises."
