Trojan appoints Segal as VP global development

Deep cycle battery specialists Trojan Battery Company has appointed Mat Segal as senior vice president of global business development. In his new role, Mr Segal will be responsible for managing international sales growth.

Dave Godber, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Trojan Battery said, "Under Mat's leadership Trojan will continue implementing the company's strategy to expand its international markets and penetrate newer developing regions worldwide. These markets represent significant opportunities to enhance Trojan's global reach and presence. Mat will take on the added responsibility of managing sales and new business development activities for both foundational and emerging markets outside of the US."

Mr Segal has more than 20 years experience in strategic sales and marketing positions. In his previous position as senior vice president of corporate development at Trojan, he managed new business development initiatives providing strategic guidance during the expansion of Trojan's renewable energy division and established business partner relationships both domestically and internationally.
