Textile Hy-Brid Lifts launch

Hy-Brid Lifts has introduced a special platform for textile mills, based on the US-based manufacturer’s existing PA-1030 push-around lift.

The new narrow platform and the size of the lift’s base make it easy to move through aisles in cleaning of HVAC applications, effectively removing the inherent dangers associated with ladders.

Hy-Brid Lifts, owned by Custom Equipment, says it now offers the only customised lift tailored to the needs of the textile industry. The reduced platform width of 18 inches and a reduced base width of 29.5 inches, allows the lift to fit between objects at height where larger rails on other lifts didn’t fit.

The textile mill lift is lightweight, at 893 pounds and offers non-marking tyres. The lightweight design doesn’t sacrifice lift capacity and protects the sensitive flooring often found in mills, many of which are located inside historic factory buildings.

The 16ft working height PA-1030 has a working area of 18 inches x 42 inches, with a low step-in height of 26 inches. It features a zero-turn radius for easy maneuverability around tight corners and through confined spaces. The custom lifts can be equipped with an absorbent glass mat (AGM) battery, making it virtually maintenance because it never requires users to add water. The PA-1030 also features a self-regulating charger that prevents the battery from over-charging. Additional features of the PA-1030 include a tool holder, parts tray, USB chargers on the platform, total-lock rear casters and auto-lock brakes on the front tires.
