Snorkel adds to Latin American team

Snorkel has completed its team to increase sales in Latin American with the appointment of a dedicated customer service and product support team, which includes Theresa Alvarez and Homer Gonzales.
Ms Alvarez and Mr Gonzales join Mike Falcon, regional sales manager for Latin America, whose appointment was reported by Access International at the end of November.
Mr Falcon reports to Steve Watts, whom Snorkel has promoted from vice-president, distribution to vice-president, sales and marketing - the Americas. Mr Watts is responsible for planning and implementing Snorkel's strategy in a region stretching from Canada to Chile.
Ms Alvarez, who speaks fluent Spanish and English, takes responsibility for customer service in the region. The role includes processing customer enquiries and orders, she is based in Snorkel's facility in Fresno, California.
Product support is provided from Snorkel's North American headquarters in Elwood, Kansas, with additional support from Mr Gonzales, who is also based in Fresno and like Ms Alvarez is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Snorkel said it is currently recruiting an additional product support engineer who will be based in Latin America.
Mr Watts said, "Latin America offers some exciting opportunities for Snorkel to grow sales. With the development of this dedicated team, we can truly support our customers in this region and grow together."
