JLG closes Sweden site and appoints distributor
By Euan Youdale11 January 2023
JLG Industries has announced a new distribution partnership in Sweden and the closure of its facility in Sweden.

The new arrangement with Zip-Up Svenska follows JLG’s decision to change the way it delivers sales and services to customers in Sweden, and cease the operations of its location in Kungsängen by the end of March.
Karel Huijser, general manager for JLG in EMEAI region, said, “Our decision is based on the current market in Sweden not growing to the magnitude we predicted three years ago. It should not be seen in any way as related to the performance and dedication of our local team members. We wish to express our appreciation and thanks to all our team members that have worked so diligently to serve our Nordic customers over the past years.”
As JLG’s new official distributor Zip-Up Svenska AB is set to meet the needs of end-users and rental companies across the Swedish market by offering commercial and service provision. Founded in 1978, and with locations in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Zip-Up is an established supplier of powered access equipment in the country.
JLG said the other Nordic markets will continue to be served by the company’s existing distributors.
