Haulotte has launched a new 16m working height electric articulating boom lift, available in two versions; the Sigma 16 and Sigma 16 Pro.
Designed for a range of indoor and outdoor applications, including Industrial, maintenance, finishing and renovation jobs, the new models are designed to offer an enhanced working envelope thanks to their outreach and up and over clearance capabilities.
The Sigma 16’s horizontal outreach of 8.35m is achieved on a 6.6m long x 1.75m wide base. The model also offers an up and over clearance of 7.4m and a 230kg lift capacity. It has a 2m height in stowed position, a transport length of 6.6m and weighs 6900kg.
The Sigma 16 Pro version is slightly heavier and longer but offers a horizontal jib rotation of -55° /+55°, as well as the standard vertical jib rotation.

Standard features on both versions include 2 wheel drive and 2 wheel steer with zero tail swing. It is powered by AC motors and a 48V battery pack and comes with Haulotte’s Activ’Energy Management battery management system smart, the Activ’Shield Bar 2.0 secondary guarding and Activ’Lighting System for safe loading in low visibility conditions. The embedded Activ’Screen diagnostic system has a colour screen.
Among other items are the upper control box cover and tool tray in a 1.2m wide basket, for two people, with drop bar entry. The model also comes with large solid, non-marking industrial tyres, AC power to basket, a lockable battery circuit breaker and motion alarm.
Options include a side swing door and front drop bar, a 1.5m wide basket, basket plug (110/230 V), cold countries hydraulic oil and the Haulotte Activ’Energy Management: manual or automatic battery water-filling system, among others.
