Harness meets several global standards
25 March 2008
Capital Safety brand's Protecta has completely redesigned and upgraded the Pro harness line. The company used light–weight hardware and models with built–in padding to make the harness lighter and more comfortable, reducing user fatigue. Impact indicators are standard on all Pro harnesses to let the worker know if the harness has arrested a fall. Label covers completely encase harness labels and increase the life of the harness. The harnesses meet the needs of workers in a variety of functions and applications, such as fall arrest, climbing, positioning and retrieval to serve various industry sectors.
The harnesses meet ANSI and OSHA standards, as well as CSA for Canada, and CE for Europe.
“Now workers can quickly and easily get fall protection meeting global standards,” says Kim Meyer, product manager for Capital Safety. “Meeting global standards allows Capital Safety to manufacture the harness at multiple sites worldwide. The user manual will include all of the languages for the countries where the harness is sold.
