By Lindsey Anderson02 March 2020

H&E Equipment Services Inc. has opened a new branch in Birmingham, AL.

The 26,500-square-foot facility sits on 5.5 acres with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse and a repair shop with 10 service bays. The facility is capable of servicing a variety of construction and general industrial equipment. It joins the existing H&E crane facility in serving the Birmingham area and is the fifth full-service Alabama branch.

The branch specializes in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, earthmoving machinery, compaction equipment, generators, compressors and more and represents the following manufacturers: Allmand, Atlas Copco, Blue Diamond, Bomag, Gehl, Generac, Genie, Hamm, JCB, JLG, John Deere, LBX, LayMor, MEC, Miller, Multiquip, Okada, Skyjack, SkyTrak, Sullair, Takeuchi, UniCarriers and Yanmar.

“As construction continues to grow in the Birmingham metro area, we are excited to dedicate the resources and open our second branch in the market to better service our customers’ equipment needs,” said Joe Scherzinger, regional vice president. “As our slogan says, ‘We’re an equipment company, run by equipment people.’ Although our resources are vast, we take a personal approach and are dedicated to working with customers to best help them with their needs.”

In addition to equipment rentals, the facility provides new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile service, comprehensive parts availability, training and other value-added services.
