German lift manufacturer GEDA has already ensured recognition for its country in the UEFA Euro 2012 football tournament this summer, even before the first ball is kicked. The company has been involved in the construction of two new Polish stadia in preparation for the competition.

Four GEDA 500 Z/ZP transport platforms were constructed for the multi-purpose PGE Arena in Gdansk. The four platforms, provided by local firm Blar, were used for the transport of people and materials.

GEDA lifts were also involved in the construction of the new National Stadium in Warsaw where the opening match of UEFA Euro 2012 will be played. Krakow-based Altus rented four GEDA AB 650 suspended working platforms. GEDA also supplied rust-free height access technology for corrosion protection work on the beams.
