Canada-based Fraco Products has added two hoists to its range: the SEH Series and the SEL Series, for construction and industrial applications.

Armand Rainville, Fraco president, said the market for construction elevators and industrial lifts would grow hugely over the next decade. “It was natural that Fraco broadens its product line, especially as these new products are aimed at markets we already serve.”

The SEH Series construction hoists are available with single or double closed cabin and offer a load capacity of 1550 to 7000 lbs. Speeds vary from 0 - 130 ft/min to 0 - 295 ft/min, while up to 330 ft/min is available with a counterbalance system. They are suited to building construction projects, bridge construction or repair and power plant construction or renovation.

Inner cabin length varies from 10 -16 ft, while the width and height are usually 5 ft and 7 ft. All SEH Series models provide a rack-and-pinion lifting mechanism and they are equipped with electric motors that meet eco-energetic standards, said the company. Elevators feature an enclosed base, vertical sliding doors and security locks.

Fraco’s SEL Series industrial lifts are designed to withstand harsh outdoor and indoor environments and intensive use. They can be installed on almost any structure, said the manufacturer. All SEL Series models are intended for permanent installation and provide a single modular cabin, which is fully closed. Load capacity ranges from 880 - 7050 lb and travel speeds are the same as those of the SEH Series.
