Chicago events focus on supply chains and new power technology

Two conferences in Chicago on 27 and 28 September will give high-level information on key trends in the power sector - including hydogen and electrification - and insights into construction equipment markets and supply chain problems.

The Diesel Progress Summit on September 27 and the Off-Highway Conference on September 28 are both being held at the Loews Chicago O’Hare hotel in Rosemont and will have distinct but complementary themes.

Diesel Progress Summit: Pathways To powertrain decarbonization will explore combustion engine technologies, engine fuels, transmission and hydraulic technologies, electrification systems and fuel cells. The event includes an awards ceremony.

Karl Weiss, Caterpillar Caterpillar’s Chief Technology Officer Karl Weiss will give a keynote speech at the 2022 Diesel Progress Summit.

There are speakers from Caterpillar, Kohler Engines, Liebherr, Shell, Cummins, Terzo Power Systems, ClearFlame Engine technologies, John Deere Power Systems, Dana and Loop Energy. The full conference programme can be found here

Off-Highway Conference: Construction equipment - future markets & key issues, organised by Off-Highway Research, will provide outlooks for construction equipment markets worldwide, with a focus on North America, and explore the energy transition and supply chain issues.

Gert Reichetseder Wacker Neuson Gert Reichetseder, President & CEO of Wacker Neuson in North America will speak at the Off-Highway Conference on 28 September.

Speakers will come from Wacker Neuson, Ohio Cat, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Off-Highway Research, Roland Berger, Rouse Services, Cummins and KGP Commercial Powertrain Intelligence. View the full programme here.

ALH Conference also in Chicago
A third event, the ALH Conference, which is focused on the North American aerial platform and rental sectors, takes place at the same hotel on September 29.

The full-day conference will feature keynote speaker Larry Silber, CEO of Herc Rentals, as well as presentations from Sunbelt Rentals, S&P Global Markets, Genie and IPAF president Karin Nars.
