Altrex manuals on smart phones
By Maria Hadlow05 September 2011
Altrex, the Netherlands scaffolding solutions specialist is bringing several new developments to APEX: Altrex Mobile Safety, MHB (Modular Suspended Platform System) and , the Bisomac hoists.
Altrex Mobile Safety with QR codes is designed for use with a smart phone, the QR code provides direct digital access to the instruction manual. The QR-code is placed on the sideframes of the Modular Suspend Platform System (MHB) and on the platforms of the 5000 and 4000 series Rolling and Folding Towers. The QR codes ensure that the user always has a digital version of the assembly and user manual to hand and that it is the most recent version in accordance with current guidelines. The user can also select from a number of languages.
Hard copy manuals will continue to be supplied and Alttex can provide QR codes for customers' existing products.
MHB will be shown complete on the stand with a platform, aluminium roof beams, the Bisomac hoists in working operation and the QR-code for the manual on the sideframes. The Rolling Tower 5100 (single width) and 5200 (double width), Stairway Tower 5300 and Modular Triangle Bridge (MTB), all part of the 5000-Series Modular Scaffolding System, will be shown too.
