ALH speaker highlight: Kevin O’Shea
24 August 2021
“Equipment maintenance is the most cost-effective insurance you can buy,” says Kevin O’Shea, director of safety and training for Hydro Mobile.
O’Shea will expand on this during his presentation “Key insights into equipment inspection and why it’s of utmost importance” on September 14 at the ALH Conference in Chicago.

O’Shea, who is also the chairman of both the International Powered Access Federation’s international mast climbers committee and the Scaffold & Access Industry Association’s mast climber committee, will provide key tips and information on how a comprehensive maintenance program, carried out by trained and qualified personnel, will keep the equipment in prime condition, fully operational and earning money.
“Comprehensive maintenance programs can contribute in a major way to managing the equipment owners’ liability and will exponentially increase safety performance while providing an opportunity to spread equipment ownership costs evenly,” O’Shea notes. “This session will look at the elements of comprehensive maintenance, their contribution to risk management and how they can significantly contribute to the bottom line.”
Organized by Access, Lift & Handlers and its publisher, KHL Group, the day-long ALH Conference will be the industry’s first in-person gathering since the start of the global pandemic. To register or learn more, click here.
