Advanced Access Goes Green

London, UK-based Advanced Access Platforms (AAP) has received a substantial delivery of hybrid booms.

The company’s proximity to London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), meaning environmental impact is particularly important for the company.

Its largest single boom order to date, AAP has purchased 26 Niftylift Hybrid and Bi-Energy booms. With working heights ranging from 12m to 28m, the order includes 12m Bi-Energy booms and 15m, 17m, 21m and 28m Hybrid booms, all of which are going into AAP’s new Eco Depot in Central London.

This, in addition to another large Niftylift order placed by AAP in 2018, also mainly Hybrid booms, illustrating its nicreasing partnership with Niftylift, said the company.

John Corcoran, Director at Advanced Access Platforms commented: Advanced Access is focusing on providing low-weight, environmentally conscious booms that still offer the best working envelopes to our customers. The low weight of Niftylift booms means that we can transport them more easily within the ULEZ and Hybrid power allows them to work anywhere, quietly and cleanly, when needed. This investment with Niftylift is our biggest so far and shows that we’re fully committed to meeting the needs of our customer base.”
