Webinar recording: access and rental in 2022

A panel of leading access and rental industry experts covered a range of hot topics during Access International and Access, Lift & Handlers’ joint webinar, which took place 8 December. 

The one hour-long discussion, which is free-to-view here, focuses on the new Covid-19 Omicron variant, capex plans, rental rates and supply chain challenges, along with sustainability, including corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the expansion of electric-powered equipment. In addition, the panel considered the impact of Chinese equipment manufacturers on mature access markets, among other subjects. 

The speakers:

• Karel Huijser, GM and VP of EMEA BV, JLG Industries. Huijser has been with JLG since 2012 and has more than 35 years of experience in international management.
• Ivan Papell, CEO, Liftisa. Based in Spain, Papell has more than 25 years’ experience in rental and sales of MEWPs and  has been the owner of multiple rental companies.
• Chris Pera, With longstanding experience in the U.S. rental sector, Pera founded Pennsylvania-based HiReach in 2009, which was later sold to Sunbelt Rentals. He joined ABLE just over five years ago.
