Zoomlion is to launch a 58.8m working height telescopic boom at this year’s Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany, expanding its existing range of Ultra platforms.

The new ZT58J Ultra model, which also boasts an outreach of up to 25.5m, has a dual platform capacity of 300 kg unrestricted and 454kg restricted and offers up to 24° gradeability.

The diesel-powered boom is a four-wheel-drive unit that can handle rough terrain and its telescopic jib provides a wide working arc of -55° to +70°.

The ZT58J Ultra, which is the sister model to Zoomlion’s ZT42J and ZT68J Ultra boom lifts, will presented to the public alongside three new MEWPS.

According to the manufacturer, it will also showcase its two newest lithium-powered RT articulating boom lifts at the show.

The ZA16JERT-Li and ZA20JERT-Li are equipped with 250kg-capcity platforms and have working heights of 17.8m and 21.38 respectively, with outreaches of 9.72m and 12.1m.

“Valued from superb working envelope, the booms provide excellent up-and-over capacity of 8m for ZA16JERT-Li and 8.25 for ZA20JERT-Li, offering extreme flexibility during the operations,” said Zoomlion.

The battery-electric models, which were launched at the beginning of 2022, are both fitted with an AC electric drive and provide zero-emissions and low noise.

Zoomlion expanded its range of articulating boom lifts into RT electric models in January 2022, and has developed the lithium-powered ZA16JERT-Li and ZA20JERT-Li. So far, the company provide articulating boom lifts, ranging from 14 m to 32m for diesel power, 10m, 14, and 20m for electric power, 16m and 20m for RT electric models.

Alongside these, the manufacturer will also display its electric ZT22JE and ZT26JE telescopic booms.

Launched in November of last year, the two models have working heights of 24.4m and 28.7m and, according to Zoomlion, have proven popular among European rental companies.
